Fundraising and Donations

Cooks Hill SLSC relies heavily on our sponsors and generous donations. Without our sponsors and donors, we would not be able to offer as many programs to the Newcastle community as we do.

Fundraising

Cooks Hill LS & SC relies on our dedicated volunteers to help raise valuable funds for the Club. We need fundraising to help keep our Club strong and healthy financially. Fundraising events help pay for much needed surf life saving equipment, first aid training equipment, uniforms, special events and maintenance.

We’re keen to work with exciting fundraising opportunities that you may have and we welcome new members to our Fundraising team. If you have ideas and or would like to join the team then please get in touch with us at office@cookshillsurfclub.com.au and we can start the conversation!

Donations

We welcome donations and other generous contributions that help the club be as successful as it is in providing a safe and healthy environment for our members and the public. There are always the ongoing requirements to secure Lifesaving and training equipment, from basic first aid supplies, a $30 oxygen bottle, a $3,000 defibrillator and to more major requirements including Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB’s). The club also has ongoing equipment and building maintenance requirements that may suit an in-kind donation, as does the staging and logistics requirements of surf carnivals.

If you would like your donation to go to a particular section within the club, please do advise the Treasurer, and we will ensure its allocated correctly.
