Surf Club Redevelopment
In August 2016, Cooks Hill LS & SC commenced stage one of our Surf Club Redevelopment. This was to build to the North of the existing building. This extension has allowed us to gain:
- Accessible beach access – ramps from Memorial Drive down to the beach
- Internal lift from street level to beach
- Accessible change rooms
- Female Club member change rooms
- New Patrol room
We are still working towards completing our mid level floor fit out which will include the office, Clothing Cupboard shop, a meeting/ training room and our Members function space on the top level. The Cub is actively seeking grants and funding to complete these fit outs.
Help us build our Surf Club
The club is still seeking assistance to complete the build of our extension, along with seeking large scale grants to allow us to complete the knock down and rebuild of our existing.
