Keeping up to date with your Members Portal account

About the Members Portal

This system is for members of Surf Life Saving Clubs and affiliated entities. Creating an account is a multi-stage process that requires First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email and/or Mobile to match the members details recorded in the National Membership database (Surfguard). This portal currently contains access to your surf lifesaving records (including memberships, patrol hours/rosters, awards and personal details), a file library, a central news and information area, and a forms and workflow area.

The Members Portal is a one stop shop for all of the organisation’s member’s online needs.

  • If you or your children are members of the club your details already exist on the SLSA database.
  • The Members Portal links you to your details on this database.

How to Create a Portal Account

Step 1

Go to Surf Life Saving Australia – Members Portal

Search for SLS Members Portal in search engine (google etc.) or click on link above.

Step 2

Click on Create Account at the top of the page. You will need to enter:

First Name:

Last Name:

Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy

Gender:

Identity Confirmation Method:  Ο  Email    Ο  Mobile Phone Number

(both email and mobile phone number must match the details in the database, therefore if either have changed recently you will need to email registrar@cookshillsurfclub.com.au to confirm your details)

Step 3

Enter a username for your account and click the ‘Check Username’ button to ensure that your choice is available. Enter a password. It should be between six and 12 characters long and contain at least one number, one lower case and one upper case letter.

Step 4

All accounts must be activated before they can be accessed. You will receive a confirmation code/ link by either email or SMS depending on the choice you made earlier.

Step 5

Email Activation – you will receive an email from noreply@portal.sls.com.au either click the link or paste the URL at the bottom of the email into your web browser to activate your account.

Mobile Activation – the next screen displayed will ask you to enter your username and password exactly as you chose it earlier, followed by the confirmation code you receive by SMS.

If you do not receive an SMS or Email, please click the “Resend Your Confirmation Code” option on the Portal home page portal.sls.com.au

 

 

If you log in to renew your membership next year you simply need your User Name and password.
